Brecon 89 - Cefn Coed 0

The Breconshire Derby game commenced with uncontested scrums as Cefn Coed were unable to field a recognised front row. Brecon imediately opened with repeated attacks and wing Matthew Watkins scored the first try with less than ten minutes on the watch. Gari Davies converted.

Brecon continued to make inroads in the opposition defence and a further six tries were scored by half time when Brecon led 47 points to nil.

The second half continued in the same vein. Brecon scored a further seven tries leaving the final score at 89 points to nil.

Try scorers for Brecon were Matthew Watkins -2, Ross Parry - 2, Gethin Meredith -2, Alun Davies - 2, Jake Thomas, Seb Evans, Alun Morgan, Jim Williams and Adam Libbey. Gari Davies kicked 12 conversions.
