Brecon were looking for a home win after an 8-8 draw away to Gwernyfed earlier in the season. Both sides started well, scoring a few tries in the first 10, of what was a 30 minute game due to Gwernyfed needing to rotate their huge sqaud of 20 players. Gwernyfed made a few mistakes in the 2nd 10 minutes, with a number of dropped balls being scooped up by Brecon and converted into tries. Brecon stepped things up in the last 10, turning over ball and forcing Gwernyfed to make more mistakes with their strong defence. The game ended in a 12-6 win for Brecon, with the boys showing great comittment and passion. Well done boys. You were a pleasure to coach!!
