Brecon travelled down to Risca to play in a round robin with Risca and Abercarn. Brecon played Abercarn first and it was a very close match with both sides scoring some great tries. It was end to end and it was only that Brecon managed to turn Abercarn over in tags that they had a chance to take a lead and managed to keep hold of it till the end. Brecon winning a close game10-9 in tries.

In the second game Brecon played Risca and started really well. They scored some great tries and tagged really well turning Risca over a numerous times to go into half time 4-1 up in tries. The 2nd half was a complete turn around, with Brecon's tagging almost non existent and plenty of dropped balls!! There was lots of ball following leaving big spaces for Risca to run into and score some lovely tries of their own. Risca scored in the last minute of play and levelled the game at 5 tries all. A fantastic game with some great rugby by both sides.
