Brecon make it two league wins out of two in a nervy game at Parc De Pugh
With many enforced changes being made after last weeks epic win at Gwernyfed, the home side struggled to get control of the game
Brecon did score first through Dan Hiscocks but it was the visitors who were the deserved leaders at the interval
In fact if Ynysybwl had been more clinical their lead could of been far greater at the break
Harsh words were said by the coaching staff concerned at the lack lustre first half performance, ill discipline and high penalty count had to be addressed
Brecon did improve in the second half, firstly through a Josh Hamilton try from five metres and secondly a excellent try from Morgan Vaughan finishing off a great move with a plomb
Huw Thomas completed the scoring with a conversion and a penalty
Ynysbwl did not give in and many would argue they were unlucky not leaving with a win , with the home team happy to remain unbeaten although all aware huge improvements will be required if we want to finish top of the league
It was not a classic encounter, but it was a great opportunity for more players to gain valuable experience of playing youth rugby, three more players made their league debuts all contributing
Kyron Dillon was excellent at full back, Josh Pritchard had another fine performance as did Josh Hamilton, this weeks MOM goes to Mathew Williams who was the difference between the two sides
Lets keep working on the training field and with good availability I am sure we heading in the right direction for another successful season
Well done all
