Sam Maggs, Dafydd Jones, Alex Ryan and Dafydd Havard, Rob Wainwright,
Thomas Griffin and Harry Keddle. Team Coaches : Simon Woods and Kevin
Phillips.
Coaches comments after the game “A great game, the result could
have gone either way. As usual our defence was excellent, however they
managed to get through a couple of times and score. The team was unlucky
not to overtake them in the closing minutes. Next time it will be different
so watch out Rhiwbina”
An independent observer noted “ Perhaps if Brecon had played quick ball wide and out to their wing towards the end of the game; Brecon may have stretched the Rhiwbina team and then found holes to penetrate and score, but they kept on hammering on a fairly narrow front. Excellent game, a fine, really talented team which has much courage, tenacity and ability. The coaches should be applauded for their hard work”
