A message from departing Head Coach Andy Powell

I am writing to let you know that it is with regret that I am leaving Brecon due to family and work commitments and I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone at the club for what has been an incredible three years. I will never forget my time here. Rugby is about creating memories and I think we achieved that together, most notably winning the National Plate final against Bonymaen. What a day that was.  There is a great group of players at this club and I only hope that they continue to improve and keep setting the bar higher each year – there are so many talented players here and I just hope you reach your potential. Huw Davies, our team manager, has been the rock of the team, and I also owe him a great debt of gratitude. Thank you Huw for everything.
These are challenging times but the club has had tremendous support during the last year and hopefully the playing numbers will continue to increase when we get back to playing again. A special word of thanks too to Paul Amphlett and Phil Buck who have been immensely supportive during my time here. Also a big thank you to Sharon Williams and all the bar staff. All the best for the future. Best regards. Andy.
