THANK YOU FOR HELPING US TO HELP NHS FRONTLINE STAFF

When I was young I was told to aim as high as possible so that even if you fail to reach your target then you are still likely to achieve more than you would if you set a modest goal. So when we, at Brecon RFC, launched our Name the Ewe initiative to support  NHS Wales on 28th April we set a target of £5,000. At the time we believed that we were aiming high. How wrong we were. The support we received was far in excess of what we anticipated and we hit our target by the end of our first week, 5th May. With some of the ewes still unnamed we decided to push on towards a closing date of 16th May, but this time with a new target of £10,000. With 5 days to go our fund now totals £8,127. To launch a final push we have produced second video. The emphasis this time is on entertainment but with a serious goal of supporting Front Line Health workers who are facing an incredible challenge as they put themselves at risk, while battling to save the lives of members of our communities.

With that in mind, first sit back and enjoy a little bit of light relief, via our video, as rugby returns to Parc de Pugh in the company of Phil Steele. (The video can be accessed through the following link to the Brecon RFC website, or viewed on the Brecon Facebook and Twitter pages.) Then if you enjoyed the video and want to help us reach our goal please contact me or use the links below.
