It is disappointing that I have to report that the Pre-Season match between Brecon and Narberth has been cancelled. We are carrying a number of injuries and also a number of players are unavailable so we pulled out of the game. The most seiously injured is our hooker Elgan Lewis. Elgan was outstanding last season and was looking forward to another campaign. However, his appearance on the field against Ystalyfera was cut short when a scrum collapsed and he tore a muscle in the chest/right shoulder area. The damage was severe and may require surgery. We all wish him a rapid recovery and we will miss him during his period of rehabilitation and recovery.
To date the Youth game v Narberth is going ahead on Saturday 31st, kick off 2:30pm.
