It is sad to have to report that following an incredibly brave battle with cancer our coach Matthew J finally passed away, His commitment to us as a club was outstanding. He continued to coach our senior team even through a return of the cancer which he fought so bravely for more than seven years. For those who had contact with him it was clear that he was far from well as he supported our team from the touchline earlier in the season. We can now do nothing but show total respect for his commitment and determination to carry on in spite of his condition. Our thoughts must also turn to his young family. It is a tragedy at any time in anyones life but in this instance it is particularly heartbreaking to lose a husband and father at such a young age.
