Club Survey of Players and Members

Dear Member,
I hope that this message finds you and your family well.
During the pandemic, the Board has been actively using the time to take stock of our position.
Brecon RFC is committed to improving the facilities we offer our players and members.
In order to ensure that we continue to target the areas that are of most concern to our membership, we have decided to survey our members again.
Clearly a lot has happened since the last survey, not least that Brecon RFC is now a limited company.
The Board operates with the consent of members in the interests of promoting rugby in Brecon.
We feel it is important that we present you with some facts before you complete the survey:
  • The Club has to raise over £70,000 per year to fund the playing of rugby, none of that £70,000 is spent on paying players.
  • The club is currently run by a Board of 10 members.
  • We have a thriving Vice Presidents group who contribute to the funding of the club and are always seeking extra members.
  • Our first team is generously sponsored by a local businessman.
  • No income from Clubhouse sales goes in payment to players.

We will be collating the replies from noon on Monday 22nd March 2021 so please complete the survey before that date.
